Specialized software is used to warp and mask the projected image to make it fit perfectly on irregularly shaped screens. When done right, the end result is a dynamic projection installation that transcends ordinary video projection.

Also known as video mapping and spatial augmented reality, it is a projection technology used to turn objects, often irregularly shaped (including water), into a display surface for video projection. These objects may be complex industrial landscapes, such as buildings, small or large indoor objects or theatrical elements for stage sets.
